Letter extract from Maude E. Abbott, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Extract from Maude Abbott's letter of August 24, 1923. She explains that in August 1913, the Museums Association organized the Section of Museum Technique of the Museum of the International Congress of Medicine. Osler had, in 1911 made arrangements regarding their participation. In October 1913, they obtained Lord Strathcona's gift.

The Corporation authorized the offer medical faculty for personnel in general hospital lines of communication consisting of teachers holding hospital appointments. Must speak French and German. The nurses from Royal Victoria Hospital speak French. He ranks and files fourth and fifth year students. Received no answer from Ottawa. Asks him to influence Howard Eagar of the War Office to join them.

Frobisher's papers comprise a letterbook of the North-West Co. containing copies of letters written by Frobisher from April 1787 to October 1788, two original letters to Simon McTavish, 1796, and one from him, 1787, business and legal documents, largely concerning the estate of James McGill, 1810-1834, and a diary, 1806-1810, mostly a record of where he dined.

Collection consists of photograph albums and publications from Jean Drapeau's library related to significant events that occurred during his mandates as mayor of Montreal (1954 to 1957 and 1960 to 1986). Photograph albums, brochures, and publications represent Expo 67 and its reiteration, Man and his World (Terre des Hommes), which ran from 1968 to 1986. The 1976 Montreal Olympic Games are documented in programmes and photograph albums. The collection also includes records of Drapeau's political life, including transcripts of his speeches from 1955-1957, photograph albums related to his municipal political party, the Civic Party of Montreal (Parti civique de Montréal), and presentation copies of books.
