File includes four kept copies of letters to an unknown family member, Major Plenderleath, Mrs. Plenderleath (Simon McTavish's widow), and to their agent. Mr. Bulley. The letters concern the sale of the Terrebonne seigneury, which occurred on December 17, 1832.

The full title reads, "Pollock's Characters & Scenes in the Miller and his Men, Taken from Lloyd's original drawings in posession [sic] of the publisher with a book written expressly for the above. 7 Plates of Characters, 11 Scenes and Set Pieces, 3 Pl. Wings No 1, 3, 4."
