Correspondence from Jennie Jefferson Penfield dated 1924-1930, typed and handwritten sheets, some discussing illness of Ruth Penfield, Christian Science, various family members, a trolly accident involving HKP's parents, etc; a telegram from Carl W Rand to WGP discussing Jennie Penfield's cardiac enlargement.

File consists of records related to a testimonial dinner tendered to Dr. Emanuel Libman "by his pupils, ... in honor of his 60th birthday on the occasion of the presentation of the 'Libman Anniversary Volumes,'" held at the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria, New York. Documents include: list of speakers, including Maude Abbott; a portrait; a menu (on verso of which are manuscript notes in hand of Maude Abbott); and a seating list (see also file number 13).

Fonds shows A. R. Prendergast's 1902 work in histology course given by Professor George Wilkins and his Lecturer N.D. Gunn. It contains a histological sketching book with coloured pencil drawings from Prendergast.

The item consists of a letter sent from John McCrae while on active duty to Carleton Noyes, Cambridge, MA, with an envelope postmarked 31 May 1916. Enclosed with the letter is an autographed signed copy of McCrae's poem, In Flanders Fields. The poem's first line in this copy ends with the word “grow,” a change from the published version in which the line finishes with “blow.” In his letter, McCrae modestly notes that the poem had achieved some level of notoriety.
