McGill Shakespeare Medal, 1864
This item is a McGill medal commemorating the tercentenary of William Shakespeare's birth. One side of the medal has a an image of Shakespeare in profile with the words "Shakspere [sic], 1564-1616." The other side bears a McGill coat of arms and "Shakspere [sic] Tercentenary, 1864, for English literature" inside a decorative cross, with "McGill College, Montreal" in a ring around the edge of the medal.
This item is a notebook of medical notes about various parts of the human body. Written in the front covers was: "William Fraser M.D., Professor of the Institute of Medicine, Corner of Genevieve and Dorchester St." along with a list of names on the following page (possibly students).
This item is a 1875 Professor William Sutherland medal. One side depicts Sutherland in profile, with text that reads, "Guilielmus Sutherland M.D., OB. MDCCCLXXV."
