The report includes "the history of the College together with brief accounts of the pioneering years and activities (prior to 1844) and of the classes under the Donalda Endowment (1884-1899)."

This item is a medal depicting two figures, a naked man and a clothed man blowing into a horn, on one side, and a variant of the McGill coat of arms on the other, a shield with three martlets, topped with a crown, with a partial wreath of maple leaves, and the words: "McGill University, Montreal."
